Hello Lamp Post

Graphic Design, Communications

Hello Lamp Post is an interactive platform for play, that allows people to have conversations with inanimate objects using the text messaging function on their phones.

I have helped deliver the project to cities across the world, including Austin, Singapore, Tokyo, and most recently London. This includes securing and liaising with the commissioning bodies and partners that make the execution possible.

I have also written, managed and moderated the questions and responses that circulate the system. Objects will have particular personalities or muse on relevant themes depending on the object's type or location.

The project requires a suite of graphic collateral across digital and print, most crucially the production of physical signage that highlight’s the city’s ‘hero objects’ and gives the call to action. These assets involve a combination of photography, graphic design and video editing.

Hello Lamp Post was most recently launched in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park where it ran for 8 weeks, and for one month city-wide as part of Brighton's Digital Festival.
